National Rum Day: Celebrate with the Kraken Rum Beach Bucket

Sometimes you’re feeling a little dangerous like a Kraken or maybe you’re planning to drink some Kraken Rum.

Whether you’re feeling dangerous or just want something to wash down the heat of summer, then you might be celebrating National Rum Day. August has so many fantastic foodie holidays including National Rum Day, falling on August 16th.

While the brand has multiple recipes on its website, one the brand shared with us has been on my mind since it was mentioned. With that being said, I wanted to share it with everyone else.

Looking at the picture, it seems like the best drink for the beach or if you’re planning to have
a relaxing day at home or having a barbeque where there will be a lot of guests, looking to have fun.

Celebrate National Rum Day with a Kraken Rum Beach Bucket drink!

Let’s not waste any more time as I’ve hyped this drink up enough and get into what you need to make it. If you’re looking to make the Kraken Beach Bucket at home, you’ll need 1.5 parts of Kraken Gold Spiced Rum, .5 parts Coconut Water, 1 part pineapple juice, and lastly, 3 parts limeade. That sounds like a pretty delicious drink and one that could get the party going.

While Kraken has some other recipes, that one in the beach bucket stood out to me the most so I had to feature it. If you’re looking to celebrate National Rum Day with a classic, then you might just want to open a bottle of the Kraken Black Spiced Rum. No matter what you’re craving, Kraken Rum has you covered.

If you’re looking to spice up your usual drink, then I’d highly recommend checking out the brand’s recipes via its website. You can sort them by the type of Kraken Rum you’re using, by season, or by how difficult it is to make. If you’re the mixologist of the group, I’m sure you’ll be able to make do with whatever the Kraken Rum fans are looking for.

Whether you’re a first-time Kraken Rum drinker or the brand is an old favorite, you’ll be feeling like a pirate discovering their treasure upon the first sip. Then again, sometimes a Kraken takes the pirate and its crewmates out so make sure to stay safe. However, National Rum Day does fall on Wednesday this year so adding a little Kraken to Humpday might be the pick-me-up you need.
