We love when Starbucks drops a new treat alongside returning favorites. And that is especially true during Pumpkin Spice season.

For the 2023 PSL season, Starbucks not only brought back some classic bakery treats, but they also introduced something new that we were excited to try for ourselves. The newest baked treat on the menu for a limited time is the Baked Apple Croissant.

When we did our first PSL run to Starbucks of 2023, we were very excited to see that our local store had the Baked Apple Croissant in stock and ready to try.

Have you tried the new Baked Apple Croissant at Starbucks yet?

We were worried that this treat wouldn’t live up to our expectations, but we are so happy to be wrong. This croissant was amazing. It was the perfect amount of apple filling and the pastry itself was just as flaky and buttery as we want from a croissant.

It may not look like a classic croissant, but it definitely tasted like one. We highly recommend it warmed up, as that really adds to the overall deliciousness of this treat. You can simply not go wrong with a baked apple treat that delivers a warm apple center.

According to the description on the Starbucks website, “The new Baked Apple Croissant is made with layers of croissant dough wrapped around a warm apple filling, topped with sugar and baked to a golden finish.” And it really is exactly as it is described. Even the sugar topping works on this one.

Basically, if you love both croissants and apples (or even the idea of apple tarts and pastries in general), then this a must try. We paired ours with the returning Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, which was a delicious combination all around.

But we want to know what you think of this treat. Have you tried it yet? Will you be trying the Baked Apple Croissant?
