McDonald’s will celebrate National Cheeseburger Day with a $0.50 offer

Did you know that September 18 is National Cheeseburger Day? And what better way to celebrate than with the queen of burgers, McDonald’s.

For the most part, you can never go wrong with an order of fries and a cheeseburger from McDonald’s. It is a simple order and one that just hit the spot. And in honor of National Cheeseburger Day, the fast food chain has decided to give us a special offer that we can’t refuse.

McDonald’s is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day with $0.50 Double Cheeseburgers

According to the press email we received on behalf of McDonald’s,

"For one day only, fans can snag a Double Cheeseburger for only $0.50 from any participating location nationwide when they order exclusively through the McDonald’s App. Whether fans choose to enjoy their Double Cheeseburger a la carte or pair it with our World Famous Fries® and a side of Tangy BBQ Sauce, there are countless ways to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day at McDonald’s."

It’s a one day only offer and it is definitely one that will have us choosing a trip to their drive-thru on a Monday (because of course National Cheeseburger Day falls on a Monday in 2023).

Obviously in order to get this deal you will need to have the McDonald’s App on your phone and ready to go as the offer will only be valid through the app. Considering how often they have amazing deals on the app, we highly recommend having it anyway, but this is definitely a great incentive to download it if you don’t already have it.

A Double Cheeseburger hits differently from the classic burger and if you pair it with some hot fries, then you know it is going to be a good day.
