KFC is testing the new Smash’d Potato Bowl for a limited time
When it comes to KFC, there are some things that we just love. Their Original Recipe chicken, the coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and even their fries are a must for us. And yet, sometimes you want to shake things up, even at our favorite fast food restaurants.
For us, the KFC Bowls have been a fascinating win. They usually combine our favorite things together and they do it in a way that works. And now it looks like KFC is trying a new type of bowl!
According to the press email we received, the fast food chicken giant will be testing a new Smash’d Potato Bowl in select locations for a limited time only. So where is the test taking place and what makes this bowl a must try?

For the new bowl innovation, the press email revealed that the “Smash’d Potato Bowls are a delicious twist on fan-favorite Famous Bowls, filled to the brim with all your comfort food favorites like KFC’s Secret Recipe Fries, mashed potatoes with a warm cheese sauce, crispy bacon crumbles and sprinkled with a three-cheese blend – for just $3.49.” Sounds like a great meal option to us.
But where can you get your hands on these test bowls? The bowls are being tested in Pennsylvania at 31 locations in and around Pittsburgh.

We really hope the test goes well for this one as the Smash’d Potato Bowl sounds like it would do well across the country.
