Cinnabon celebrates National Cinnamon Roll Day on Oct. 4

There are some fast food chains who try be everything to everyone. Their offerings are meant to appeal to as broad a demographic as possible. And then you have other who do only one thing but do it really, really well. Cinnabon falls squarely into the latter category.

They makes cinnamon rolls. And that’s about it. Sure, they have other things on their menu, but who goes to a place called Cinnabon for anything other than a cinnamon roll? Especially a Cinnabon cinnamon roll?

Because as all foodies know, a cinnamon roll from Cinnabon ranks among the very best things you can put in your mouth. They are indescribably good, with the cream cheese frosting and the cinnamon mixing with the perfectly baked still warm roll.

Lord that’s good stuff.

Cinnabon celebrates National Cinnamon Roll Day on October 4.

So it should come as no surprise that National Cinnamon Roll Day, which happens every October 4, is a pretty big deal for Cinnabon. So much so that they have a trio of specials to celebrate and the winners are the customers.

First up is what they are calling CinnaBOGO. Members of the Cinnabon Rewards Program can buy one baked good and get one totally for free through October 8.

Next up is a match made in foodie heaven, the Carvel Collab. It sees the ice cream chain combine their Original Soft Serve Ice Cream in a variety of ways with the rich spiced flavors of Cinnabon and their world famous Makara cinnamon.

Finally, what may be the most exciting part, the reveal of a new Secret Menu. You can now try four brand new items for a limited time. They include:

• The TurtleBon: A cinnamon roll topped with caramel, Ghirardelli chocolate sauce and pecans.
• The Caramel Lover: A cinnamon roll topped with caramel frosting and caramel sauce.
• OREO Bon: A cinnamon roll topped with Ghirardelli chocolate sauce and OREO pieces.
• Cookie BonBite Sandwich: Cream cheese frosting sandwiched between two Cookie BonBites.

Any one of those sounds amazing. And really, who needs an excuse to enjoy a cinnamon roll? But I guess National Cinnamon Roll Day is as good as any.
