Did you guess the 2023 MTN DEW VooDew flavor right?
Every year we try to guess the latest flavor of the mystery MTN DEW VooDew flavor. And basically every year we get it wrong.
However, for the first time ever, we actually got it right! Over on TikTok, I did a video unboxing the new MTN DEW VooDew bottle that was sent my way. I didn’t taste it on video, but when someone in my comments asked what I thought it tasted like I tole them it was like a Cherry Airheads!
And guess what? I was right! For the first time ever, I actually did guess the VooDew flavor and I am shocked.
In fact, according to the press email we received revealing the mystery flavor, this was a partnership between MTN DEW and Airheads! They revealed that, “we’re proud to share that for the first-time-ever, the 2023 MTN DEW VOO-DEW mystery flavor was created in partnership with the iconic Airheads candy and infused with their Cherry flavor.”
The MTN DEW VooDew flavor for 2023 is actually Cherry Airheads!
For me, it was that hint of cherry that popped that made me think that this was like a Cherry Airhead. Did I think I nailed that flavor profile so perfectly? Absolutely not! But I love that this is actually the flavor of 2023. It makes me happy to see two of my favorite things coming together in style.
And what better way to bring together MTN DEW and Airheads than with a collaboration for the Halloween mystery flavor? We can’t think of any.
Knowing that the VooDew flavor is in fact Cherry Airheads means that we need to stock up before these are gone, because we already know these are going to go fast (at least by us, the VooDew flavor always sells out early).
