Carl’s Jr. has always walked to the beat of their own drummer. In the world of fast food they have always shown a willingness to push the boundaries and go against conventional wisdom. If you remember those Paris Hilton television ads that they made, you know what I’m talking about.

So of course, when every other chain is tripping over themselves to add the word “pumpkin” to as much of their menu as they can, especially when it comes to dessert, Carl’s Jr. has decided to go in a completly different route.

Instead of a pumpkin (insert name of any dessert you can think of here) they are instead going with a unique combination of flavors that you may not see coming. Say hello to the brand new Salted Caramel Pretzel Milkshake.

The Salted Caramel Pretzel Milkshake will be available at Carl’s Jr. for a limited time.

The Salted Caramel Pretzel Milkshake includes soft serve vanilla ice cream that has been blended with milk, pretzel pieces and a salted caramel syrup. Then the whole thing is topped with whipped topping and yet more pretzel pieces.

When you can find a dessert at a fast food place in the fall that doesn’t include pumpkin in any way, shape or form this time of year, you consider it a big win. And considering how good this looks, it’s indeed a very big win.

The Salted Caramel Pretzel Milkshake will be available at Carl’s Jr. locations nationwide for a limited time. But hopefully it will be back sooner rather than later.
