Whataburger brings back their Chili Cheese Burger & Fries for a limited time

When it comes to returning menu items, there are some we get more excited over than others. But Whataburger always seems to know what we want and they deliver.

In June, they brought back the Jalapeno Cheddar Biscuit and then to kickstart October they extend the breakfast sandwich’s menu run. And now they are once again bringing back two fan favorite menu items, the Chili Cheese Burger and the Chili Cheese Fries!

It’s been a while since we have seen this delicious menu item, which dropped in 2022, and we are thrilled for its return.

The Chili Cheese Burger and Chili Cheese Fries return to the Whataburger menu

According to the press release we were sent by Whataburger, it is time for both Chili Cheese menu items to make their “triumphant return.” And we could not agree more.

While they will both only be available for a limited time, much like the first time they arrived on the menu, the fact that they are back now seems fitting. Not only is Fall here and chili and Fall go hand in hand, but it is also state and county fair season, which feels like a perfect combination.

For anyone who missed out on the Chili Cheese Burger and the Chili Cheese Fries the first time around, this is the perfect time to give these both a try. And if you were curious, here is what you can expect from the burger itself,

"Savor the flavor as you bite into two fresh, 100% beef patties layered with crunchy corn chips, Whataburger’s own chili, melty American cheese, crisp onions and Original Mustard piled high on a toasted five-inch bun.
