As Halloween approaches, the season is abuzz with parties, movie nights, and a myriad of thrilling activities. But let’s not forget the excitement that delicious food and, more specifically, tantalizing drinks can bring to the festivities.

Restaurants are stepping up their game this year, serving up a bewitching array of spooktacular beverages. Here’s a list of Halloween drinks you mustn’t miss!

What Halloween worthy drinks are restaurants offering right now?

Starbucks Goth Frappuccino

When it comes to holiday-themed drinks, Starbucks reigns supreme. Their Halloween-inspired concoction, the Booooo Frappuccino, takes center stage. This all-black delight is a fusion of frappuccino mixed with bitter caramel sauce, with a delightful surprise lurking at the bottom – sweet pumpkin pudding. Unfortunately, this spooky treat is exclusively available in Japan, with no current plans for a U.S. debut.

However, Starbucks enthusiasts in the U.S. have a knack for crafting their own secret menu creations. According to Let’s Eat Cake, you’ll need to take a DIY approach if you’re yearning for a copycat version of this tempting drink. Since Starbucks in the U.S. doesn’t offer pumpkin pudding, you’ll have to purchase it separately. You can simply order a Caramel Frappuccino with dark caramel sauce blended in to recreate the black Frappuccino part. Add a pump or two of pumpkin sauce to match the “gentle flavor of pumpkin,” as mentioned by Starbucks. Finally, don’t forget to request a dollop of whipped cream adorned with a drizzle of dark caramel sauce to complete your Booooo Frappuccino.

Sonic Trick or Treat Blast

Sonic Blasts are getting a spooktacular transformation just in time for Halloween! Say goodbye to the dilemma of picking your favorite flavor because the all-new Trick or Treat Blast has arrived. This delectable concoction combines three beloved fan favorites: HEATH, M&M’S Minis, and OREO Cookie Pieces, all harmoniously mixed with creamy vanilla or chocolate soft serve..  Mackenzie Gibson, Vice President of Culinary & Menu Innovation at SONIC says,

"“We know that it can be hard to pick just one item to enjoy from your trick or treating bag, but Halloween is a time to indulge your sweet tooth and you shouldn’t have to choose just one!”"

No need to hurry; there’s ample time to savor this delightful and creamy dessert. Unlike most Halloween-themed drinks that vanish from the menu after October 31st, Sonic’s Trick or Treat Blast will continue to delight customers until December 31st.

McDonald’s Trick N Treat Mcflurry

McDonald’s has conjured up a frightfully delightful frozen treat for Halloween. But let’s be honest, their notorious ice cream machine often seems to be out of order. However, if you happen to strike it lucky and it’s in operation, you might just get a taste of the Trick N Treat McFlurry. This chilling delight features smooth vanilla soft serve expertly mixed with crushed orange Smarties and a luscious swirl of hot fudge, resulting in a cool, creamy dessert. Unfortunately, this limited-edition Halloween treat is exclusively available in Canada.

McAllister’s Witch’s Brew

McAllister’s Deli has conjured up a spellbinding elixir just in time for Halloween. Introducing The Witch’s Brew, an old-fashioned lemonade crafted from the enchanting combination of lemon juice, cane sugar, and caramel apple syrup, resulting in its vibrant green color. This extraordinary fusion is bound to enchant your palate. Until October 31st, 2023, customers can savor this mystical concoction, with prices starting at just $3.99. This limited-time offer is sure to be a hit among customers looking to get into the Halloween spirit.
