Bobby’s Triple Threat has been renewed for Season 3
By D. Goodman
A few weeks ago the second season of Bobby’s Triple Threat wrapped up on Food Network in typical spectacular fashion. The series sees superstar chef Bobby Flay bring in some of his culinary friends to do battle with his hand-picked “Culinary Titans,” Tiffany Derry, Michael Voltaggio and Brooke Williamson.
The inaugural season of the series was a huge hit for Food Network, one of the first since Flay almost left the network a few years ago. Season 2 took those numbers and improved on them, with the series bringing in big numbers between traditional viewing and streaming.
So the announcement that Bobby’s Triple Threat has been renewed for Season 3, as is being reported by Variety, should surprise no one.
Bobby’s Triple Threat will return to Food Network sometime in 2024.
Bobby’s Triple Threat is culinary competition at its best. The series pits a chef handpicked by host Flay that does battle with each of his Titans, each responsible for one of three courses. Then a mystery judge comes in and makes the final decision, with the winner getting a $25,000 prize and more importantly, bragging rights.
Bobby’s Triple Threat is one of the first projects under Flay’s new contract with Food Network. And he sounds pretty excited about a third season, telling Variety:
"“I am thrilled that viewers have voted a resounding ‘yes’ by tuning into Season 2 of Triple Threat with double digit gains over our first season. My goal of turning the Titans into cooking superheroes is becoming a reality, and I can’t wait to unleash the next set of challengers into the club for Season 3. I’ve got $25,000 burning a hole in my pocket, come and get it!”"
Bobby Triple Threat Season 3 is set to arrive on Food Network and the Max streaming service sometime in 2024. Keep it here at Guilty Eats for more updates as it is revealed.
