Rob’s Backstage Popcorn: Ranking the 4 current flavors (2023)

When it comes to snacks backed by celebrities, it can be a toss-up yet Rob’s Backstage Popcorn is the real deal.

If you’re a Jonas Brothers fan, you’re probably familiar with Rob’s Backstage Popcorn. The popcorn brand has become a staple part of the Jonas fandom at this point. I’ve even seen people dress up like bags of Rob’s Backstage Popcorn for concerts.

Rob’s Backstage Popcorn has really taken off over the past few years and can be found on shelves of many popular stores including Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Kroger to name a few. Plus the brand did benefit from having the backing of the Jonas Brothers and their support.

Due to being a Jonas Brothers fan and a foodie, I wanted to make sure I gave some love to the brand. Additionally, I’m just a really big fan of Rob’s Backstage Popcorn so I wanted to make sure I spotlighted them again after talking about them amidst the Album release in May.

Let’s rank all the flavors of Rob’s Backstage Popcorn from 2023.

While the brand started off with a single flavor, Rob’s Backstage Popcorn has quickly branched out. With other celebrities getting in on the fun, there are currently more than a few options. In honor of that, I’m going to be ranking the four current flavors which are “Jonas Brothers’ Original Sweet & Salty,” “Kelly’s Classic BBQ,” “Priyanka’s Mumbai Nights” and “Kygo’s White Cheddar.”

Coming in at #4 on the list is “Kelly’s Classic BBQ.” While this flavor seemed like it had the potential to be good, this one just didn’t work. Maybe I didn’t get a bag that was heavily seasoned. I’d like to say that was the cause but this popcorn didn’t taste like much of anything. As much as I like and enjoy Rob’s, I was surprised by how much I didn’t enjoy this particular flavor.

Due to that, “Kelly’s Classic BBQ” ended up at the very bottom of my list and it was followed by “Kygo’s White Cheddar” at my #3 spot. This one wasn’t a bad flavor but it just didn’t have the overwhelming flavor I’m used to from Rob’s. Maybe I’m being a little too critical yet these just don’t measure up to the other bags of backstage popcorn I’ve had.

With those two out of the way, this is where it gets difficult because these next two flavors are neck-and-neck so you’ll have to wait and see which one takes the top spot.

Headed into the top two, this was one of my toughest choices as I’ve enjoyed many bags of Rob’s Backstage Popcorn. However, I had to make the toughest choice to decide to put the “Jonas Brothers’ Original Sweet & Salty” in second place.

I know what you’re thinking but just hear me out. Rob’s Backstage Popcorn has such a unique balance of sweet and savory flavors. There’s just something so unique about it that makes it great for snacking. Once you keep eating it, it feels like a flash of different flavors every single time.

It’s the “original” for a reason and that’s why it’s still one of my top favorites. I mean we wouldn’t have the others without it so I have to give credit where credit is due.

Since the original is #2, that means “Priyanka’s Mumbai Nights” is taking the top spot. While I’ve enjoyed the original flavor for so long, I couldn’t help but fall in love with Priyanka’s Mumbai Nights. This was incredibly flavorful and such a delicious twist for the brand.

Every bite is amazingly seasoned and features a unique blend of spices. The best part is that Rob’s Backstage Popcorn is non-GMO, vegan, and gluten-free. These are just so tasty and great for a snack so I wanted to make sure I showed the brand some love.

As a huge Jonas Brothers fan, I feel like I was predetermined to love this tasty treat but ultimately, it’s just really good. The next time you’re out shopping, I don’t think you can go wrong in trying any of these flavors out. Rob’s Backstage Popcorn was created by Rob Garbowsky and remains a favorite snack of the Jonas Brothers and their fans.
