Pillsbury has you covered for Thanksgiving and Christmas
Pillsbury is a staple when it comes to holiday baking. No matter if you’re celebrating Christmas early or waiting for Thanksgiving, there is no shortage of great products.
Given the price of everything, it seems like break-and-bake is the way to go. It’s even become a popular trend on TikTok. While it started with Halloween, you can carry this trend into Thanksgiving and Christmas.
All you have to do is find your favorite holiday-shaped cookie and put it on top of some chocolate chip cookie dough. From there, you have a two-layer tasty treat to make even the grinchest person find a little bit of holiday cheer.
Thankfully, Pillsbury shared some of its delicious holiday treat offerings with us so let’s break them down along with some of the best Thanksgiving recipes from Pillsbury.
Get Thanksgiving and Christmas ready with Pillsbury this year!
Since Thanksgiving is first, let’s start there as Pillsbury shared a fun study about the most popular Thanksgiving recipes by state. I’ve included the map above but I wanted to share some stats before the big day.
As shared by Pillsbury, 40% of the recipes were for sweets so it’s clear a lot of people are bringing desserts. In Pennsylvania, the top-viewed recipe is Pumpkin Patch Cookie Cups which sound delightful. Some other sweets making the cut were Pumpkin Spice Monkey Bread (Vermont,) Cinnamon Roll Turkeys (Rhode Island) and Pumpkin-Ginger Pie (North Dakota.)
Other states are looking for ways to make Thanksgiving even easier including Maryland and Massachusetts both searching up Slow-Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Alaska looking for Instant Pot 3-Cheese Macaroni and Cheese. Both sound like amazing sides to add to your Thanksgiving table.
Of course, no talk about Thanksgiving would be complete without the turkey which hasn’t been searched up much. However, those in Kentucky and New Hampshire are looking for Beer and Rosemary Roasted Turkey while Texans are looking up Orange-Spice Roast Turkey.
Whether you’re cooking the bird, making a side or bringing a dessert, Pillsbury has tons of awesome recipes to choose from. If you’re feeling like bringing a crowd-pleaser though, you can’t go wrong in buying some Turkey Shape Sugar Cookie Dough. Everyone loves a good Pillsbury cookie.
Speaking of holidays, the brand also released its lineup for Christmas and it’s full of so many amazing treats. First up are the classic Shape sugar cookies we’ve come to know and love. This year, you can enjoy the Snowman, Reindeer, Christmas Tree, and Elf which all look tasty and fun for baking with family and friends.
That’s not all as the brand also brought some favorites including the Pillsbury Grands! Hot Cocoa rolls, Gingerbread Cookie Dough rolls, and Salted Caramel Cookie Mix from Betty Crocker. Some of the new additions for 2023 include Betty Crocker Santa Stackers which are pancakes perfect for Christmas morning and Betty Crocker Buddy the Elf Hat Sugar Cookie Mix which is great for baking with your littles while watching Elf.
Pillsbury holds such a special place in a lot of people’s hearts especially around the holiday season. Frankly, I don’t think you can go wrong no matter what you pick up but I’d love to know what you’ll be adding to your cart this holiday season.
