It’s time for things to get a bit smoky in Hell’s Kitchen as our cheftestants take on a BBQ challenge with Pit Master Aaron Franklin as judge. This is a take on all-American cooking, and of course, making a meal with the help of a grill.
For the rewards challenge, our teams are responsible for six proteins. They must be cooked on the grill, and the proteins will go head to head to determine the winner.
The six proteins they will have to cook are:
- Chicken thighs
- Chicken breast
- Swordfish
- Trout
- Flat iron steak
- Tri-tip steak
After a head-to-head judging that seemed to go back and forth at first, the winning team was the red team with a clear 6 to 2 win over the men. Not only did the women win the Vision Grills they were cooking on, but they also went off to Dave & Busters for a day of fun and a gourmet meal after.
Hell’s Kitchen brings the heat first with a BBQ challenge and then in dinner service
After a day of fun for the red team, and a day of cleaning grills for the blue team, it is time for another dinner service in Hell’s Kitchen. And tonight it is steak night with Rick Harrison and G-Eazy as the special guests dining at the two chef’s tables.
While the red team seems to be off to a strong start, over on the blue team side, it seems like there’s some issues in the garnish department. But eventually, it seems like they figure out what they need to do to get dinner service moving.
Unfortunately for the blue team, they could not pull it together and ended up getting kicked out of the kitchen. And Chef Ramsay is not happy. He ends up pulling Dahmere aside and telling him that he is the only person who cooking with pride, and he is the person who has to choose the two people who will go out for elimination.
In the end, the red team was able to complete their dinner service. And of course, that makes them the winners of the night.
So who was nominated from the blue team? Jermaine and Devon were the two chefs sent up to Chef Ramsay.
In the end, the person leaving Hell’s Kitchen was Jermaine.
