Moving onto the next category, we have the brand’s namesake which is the taco. I feel like Taco Bell has really dumbed down its menu and kept it extremely basic. However, the brand doesn’t have the plethora of taco options I remember eating and enjoying so let’s get into tasty tacos we all wish would make a comeback.

3. The Double Decker Taco

Let’s start with one I feel is always talked about and that’s the Double Decker Taco. This was a long-time Taco Bell item and one that catered to a unique group of foodies. This was the hard taco inside of the taco and then it was “glued together” by refried beans. This was the best of both worlds and is something Taco Bell almost brought back yet it was beaten by the Enchirito.

Maybe one day, we’ll see the Double Decker Taco make a comeback yet it doesn’t seem likely given how much it would. Either way, it’s gone but not forgotten.

4. The Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco

The next taco I’d like to see make its return is the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco. When I was younger, I devoured these things and honestly, they were amazing. It was the same thing as the brand’s current Doritos Locos Taco but it was made of Cool Ranch seasoning.

It was arguably just as tasty but it ended up being taken off the menu. This is another item that ended up losing out in a fan vote which still makes me sad to this day. Hopefully, we’ll see it return at some point, though.
