There are few sandwiches that can evoke a feeling of comfort like a sloppy joe. For many just the thought of one evokes memories of school lunches or your favorite dinner as a child. And it is a feeling that White Castle hopes to capitalize on.

Because while you can find burgers aplenty among the major (and even the minor) players in the world of fast food, sloppy joes are a rarity. And when they do surface on a menu, it is usually only for a precious few months.

That was the case when White Castle first added their Sloppy Joe Sliders to their offerings. They proved to be an instant hit with their fans but alas, it wasn’t meant to last. The popular item disappeared almost as fast as it had arrived.

But we have good news sloppy joe fans. White Castle has announced their return.

White Castle Sloppy Joe Sliders are back but for a limited time.

The news broke earlier this week that White Castle has decided to bring back their Sloppy Joe Sliders for another visit and that they are available in three different varieties.

The classic Sloppy Joe Slider includes a patty made from ground beef and is topped with onions, tomatoes and bell peppers. The Smoky Joe Slider takes the beef patty and tops it with smoked cheddar cheese and crispy onions while the Spicy Joe Slider includes spicy jalapeno cheese and jalapeno crisps.

The Sloppy Joe Sliders are available individually or as a Joe Six-Pack, which allows you to mix and match flavors for just $6.99.

But the good news continues for White Castle fans. They have also announced the return of their Mac and Cheese Nibblers for an extra dose of comfort and good feelings. They include cheddar cheese and macaroni that has been coated with batter and deep fried to perfection.

However, if you are a fan of either you better head to a White Castle fast. Both items will only be on the menu until February 4, 2024. After that, you’ll have to find another way to bring back those comforting memories.
