Happy birthday, Taylor Swift! The businesswoman, musician, and foodie turned 34 years old today, and what a day it is to be a fan of hers.

In honor of her birthday, I wanted to share a recipe of hers that rarely gets talked about. When most people think of recipes associated with her, it’s usually her Chai Tea Eggnog Cookies which are really good.

However, that’s not the only recipe Taylor has shared in the past. When she was active on Tumblr (RIP to those days!) she shared one recipe that had gotten lost in the sands of time yet I wanted to bring it back for her birthday.

Whether you’re looking for something new to add to your Christmas cookie rotation or just want to share with your fellow Swifties, then these Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies are a must-try this year.

Try these Taylor Swift-approved Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies!

While a few sites have talked about the recipe, this one doesn’t get as much love. However, Swift was questioned on Tumblr about her favorite chocolate chip recipe and she pointed to a recipe shared by George Duran. It’s featured on Food Network’s website and is honestly super easy to make if you have the ingredients at home.

The only difference from the recipe shared on Food Network and Taylor’s Version (get it?!) is that she cuts up chocolate bars and uses that instead of chocolate chips. Sounds like the best hack we can think of to make these cookies better. Either way, these are a great way to try out this holiday season and in honor of Taylor Swift’s 34th birthday.

These cookies also don’t take that long to make and to bake. The total time as shared via the official recipe is 32 minutes so it’s not a long or difficult recipe. Regardless, I think these would be great while hoping and dreaming for Reputation (Taylor’s Version.) Until we get it, there’s plenty of time to make one of Taylor Swift’s favorite cookie recipes.
