Have you heard of pistachio butter? Have you had a chance to try it yet? If you are a fan of pistachios, then you may want to give Peppertux Farms a try.
In our house, pistachios are a go to snack of choice. And when it comes to ice cream flavors, sometimes it is the refreshing change of pace we can’t resist. But before now, we had never even thought of trying Pistachio Butter. And then we learned about Peppertux Farms and their assortment of both Pistachio Butters, but also their Pistachio Cream.
As someone who is picky about things like nut butters, I wasn’t sure what to think and then I had the chance to try Pistachio Butter and I knew that this was something that needed to be added to my kitchen! And if you love pistachios and things like Almond Butter, Cashew Butter, and of course Peanut Butter, then you may want to try this as well.
But how can you add it into your cooking and baking routines? We wanted to know too, so we asked the brand for some suggestions!
Pistachio Butter from Peppertux adds a new dimension to your baking, breakfast, and even cooking routines
While you can always head to the recipes section of the Peppertux Farms website for inspiration, we also wanted to know what the brand had to say. And some suggestions they had included:
"Spread on toast, croissants (a warm croissant is a home run with our cream), beignets, waffles, crepes, pancakes, etc.Drizzle on vanilla ice cream to make pistachio ice cream, or add it your homemade ice cream/gelato basePistachio pudding or mousseTop any “cheesecake” with the cream to make pistachio cheesecakeOats/overnight oats/smoothiesFillings or toppings for any baked items, such as muffins/cupcakes, cakes, thumbprint cookies, breads, babka, brownies, tarts, etc.Homemade ferrero rocher substituting hazelnut butter for the pistachio creamPistachio hand pies"
Honestly, every single suggestion sounded amazing and it is made even better by the fact that you can go to their recipes page and find ways to do all of this and more.
We tried ours on croissants and toasted English muffins and both were an amazing experience. In fact, it made us want to try this on pancakes and waffles next. So that may just be how we celebrate the holidays – with Pistachio Butter topped waffles!
What do you think fellow guilty eaters? Will you be trying Pistachio Butter for yourself? Have you tried it yet? What did you think?
