If there's one holiday where we can ask for chocolate, it's Easter, when the Easter Bunny usually brings candy. Whether you've got a tradition or want to try something new, you truly cannot go wrong with some Hershey's items.
Maybe it's that I'm a Pennsylvania native or that I just adore all the Hershey's products I've tried. Either way, it was a no-brainer to sit down and talk about some products. I think it would be great if you're making an Easter basket for someone or getting some sweet treats for yourself.
Honestly, times are tough, so no one will blame you if you decide to treat yourself. Plus, there is truly no shortage of excellent items from Hershey's. While many think of the brand's chocolate offerings, the brand has expanded so much in recent years to include many other tasty items.
No matter who you're shopping for, this list will hopefully give you the guidance you need to grab everything before the Easter weekend rush hits.
These Hershey's items are all perfect for an Easter basket
It only feels right to start with a few Reese's items, and honestly, if you want to capture my heart, just get me some Reese's. It'll immediately make my day brighter and ensure you're getting the best version of me. I have no doubt that many can relate to that sentiment.
1. Reese's PB&J Cups
Let's start with one of Reese's newest releases, and that's the Reese's PB&J Cups. These sound exactly as the name suggests. It's a classic Reese's Peanut Butter Cup with the addition of jelly, which feels nostalgic in the best way. These are a limited-edition item, though, so if you see them, make sure to grab some. These come in two flavors — grape and strawberry — making them perfect for putting in an Easter basket or enjoying over the long weekend.

2. Reese's Filled Pretzels
Sticking with Reese's, this next item is hitting shelves now. These are the new Reese's Filled Pretzels, which are crunchy pretzels filled with that tasty Reese's peanut butter we all know. The cool thing is that these come in three different sizes, which are 5-ounce bags, 9-ounce pouches, and 18-ounce jars. Frankly, I don't think you could go wrong with any of these for an Easter basket, but I think the bag or pouch would probably fit the best. Then again, maybe the person you're shopping for is a Reese's fanatic, so it's all up to you.
3. Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs
Rounding out my Reese's picks are none other than the classic Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs. These are a staple of the holiday season, so they had to make the cut. Whether you're going for the classic milk chocolate or white chocolate, you're in for a real treat. These have been around for the longest, and it feels like the Easter season starts when these begin popping up in stores.
4. Jolly Rancher Freeze Dried
While I'd normally use a picture, this video is worth 1,000 words, or should I say sounds. If you're a fan of Jolly Ranchers, then you're going to adore this next item. These are Jolly Rancher Freeze Dried. It's your favorite candy but freeze-dried. While most of us have eaten these hard candies, the freeze-dried version is way different. It's crispy and soft while also having that Jolly Rancher flavor you know and love.
These were sent to me by Hershey's to try, and I couldn't stop munching on them. While they'd be excellent for an Easter basket, they'd also be great if you're having a movie night or are headed on a road trip this summer. If you haven't checked these out yet, you're sorely missing out.
5. Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme Eggs
Easter wouldn't be complete without some Easter eggs, and if you're looking for something a little bit different, you might want to grab some Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme Eggs. The cool thing about these is that they aren't the classic candy bar style you're thinking of. Instead, these are filled with different colorful cookie pieces. That's why the full name for this candy is the Polka Dot Hershey's Cookies 'n' Creme Eggs. These would even be great to grab if you're making Easter treat bags instead of Easter baskets this year.
6. SkinnyPop Harry Potter Butterbeer Popcorn
Last but certainly not least, I wanted to pick an item that was unlike any of the others, and this one from SkinnyPop immediately intrigued me. Of course, if you're looking for something more on the savory side, then you can go with another SkinnyPop flavor. However, this one seems like it'd be that sweet treat you're craving after Easter dinner. Heck, you could even eat it before you start eating Easter dinner. No matter when you decide to eat it, Butterbeer Popcorn just sounds heavenly.
Whether you're shopping for yourself or planning an entire Easter dinner, these Hershey's treats need to be at the top of your list. Any of these items are sure to put a smile on someone's face and make the Easter Bunny jealous of you. Plus, it's Hershey's, so it's bound to be good.
