Is It Cake? is coming back! But it's not just a regular old season; it's a holiday edition! That's right, Mikey Day and nine "All Star" bakers from past seasons are coming back to Netflix. But they won't just be making any objects out of cake. They will be making holiday items. I'm so excited for this.

If you haven't watched the show (what have you been doing??), the baking competition focuses on a group of bakers who are tasked with making hyper-realistic cakes that look like everyday objects. To say they are talented would be an understatement. They must then take their cakes and try to fool a group of celebrity judges. If they do, they win money and are able to move on to the next week. If not, they have the chance to be kicked off the show.

Like quite a few of the baking shows nowadays, it's incredibly supportive and fun. And if I was a judge, I would never guess right ever. Why take money from people??

The new holiday edition of the show will feature a plethora of celebrity judges, including Rachel Bloom, Wayne Brady, Sebastian Maniscalco, Hannah Berner, Devon Walker, James Austin Johnson, Chris Witaske, Sasheer Zamata, Terry Crews, Punkie Johnson and Randall Park.

Is It Cake?: Holiday Edition coming this November

The competitors will be from all three seasons, so some of them will be competing against each other for the first time. The holiday edition will be four episodes and be available to stream on Netflix starting on Thursday, Nov 28, 2024, also known as Thanksgiving. If you'd rather not watch football and the Puppy Bowl is over, this is a great show to watch with the family. If nothing else, you get to watch your relatives be stumped by what's cake and what's not.

When we'll see another full season of Is It Cake? is anyone's guess, but this is the perfect thing to tide us all over.
