KFC is one of those iconic chicken chains that knows what their customers want and they consistently deliver. And just in time for Mother's Day, they are bringing back a menu item that we have not seen in five years.
Starting on April 28, KFC fans can head to the restaurant and get their hands on Chicken and Waffles! According to the press email that we received, not only are they giving us three different menu options when it comes to the Chicken and Waffles option on the menu, but they are also introducing the Strawberry & Crème Pie Poppers. Basically, they are working hard to give their customers what they want.
The three options for getting this returning fan favorite are as follows:
- Tenders and Waffle Box for $7 (This gets you three chicken strips, a waffle and syrup.)
- The Two-Piece Fried Chicken and Waffle Box for $7 (This is your choice of fried chicken in either the Original Recipe or their Extra Crispy option.)
- The Chicken & Waffles Fan Favorites Box for $25 (This is great for sharing as you get four pieces of chicken, 12 of their nuggets, four of the waffles and your choice of four syrups or sauces for dipping.)
KFC is bringing back their fan favorite Chicken and Waffles after five years
KFC is not just giving us the Chicken and Waffles ahead of Mother's Day. They are also helping us save some money with the "$10 Tuesday with Tenders Deal." On Tuesdays, you can snag either eight of their Original Recipe tenders or their classic fried chicken with dipping sauces for just $10.
And of course, we can't forget their new Strawberry & Crème Pie Poppers, which sound like a delicious way to finish off a meal. Flaky crust stuffed with a filling of cream and strawberry is a sweet treat to enjoy with the Chicken and Waffles or anything else on the KFC menu.
Honestly, we are excited for the return of the Chicken and Waffles because we missed out on this the first time around. And of course, we love that their are also giving us a special Tuesday deal to allow us a chance to save some money, while also feeding more than one person.
