Applebee's returns its Date Night Pass for a second straight year

Last year, grabbing one was as hard as getting a PS5 during peak sales.

Do you remember last year when Applebee's announced its Date Night Pass? The card, which caused a frenzy online, allowed recipients to get up to $30 worth of food and nonalcoholic beverages per week for a full year — a $1,200 value — for just $200.

Unfortunately, few were able to get one, leading many to speculate that it was simply a PR stunt. Now, Applebee's is bringing the promotion back with a modified approach.

Applebee's makes date night easier for a second straight year

For the second year in a row, Applebee's wants to help you “eat good in the neighborhood.” But, this time, the Date Night Pass rollout appears more structured.

To be eligible, you must be a Club Applebee's member and register for a chance to purchase the pass on the Applebee's website by Feb. 12, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST.

On Valentine's Day, 3,000 Club Applebee's members will receive an email notifying them that they have been randomly selected to purchase a Date Night Pass for $100.

The biggest difference between this year's edition and last year's is its scope: The new pass is valid for 12 visits between March 1, 2025, and Feb. 28, 2026, offering up to $50 worth of food and nonalcoholic beverages for dine-in or takeout per visit.

While it's not the 52-week dining deal from last year, at least this time, Applebee’s has provided a clear number of how many passes will be available. The uncertainty surrounding last year’s rollout left many customers frustrated, and it seems the company has learned from that confusion. Plus, getting up to $600 worth of food for just $100 is a deal that's hard to pass up.

If you're interested, be sure to join Club Applebee's and register as soon as possible for a shot at being one of the 3,000 lucky winners.
