A little over a week after two games between the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers in Tokyo officially opened the MLB season, baseball returns to the U.S. as the remaining 28 teams begin their seasons.

While the action on the field is exciting, we're focused on the new food items heading to ballparks. In particular, the St. Louis Cardinals will become the first team to feature Crumbl Cookies at their stadium.

Crumbl Cookies is coming to Busch Stadium

If you're heading to the Opening Day game between the Cardinals and the Minnesota Twins, you may notice something new. According to a KSDK article, Crumbl Cookies will be available at Busch Stadium in Section 136. The grand opening will feature four cookie flavors: chocolate chip, chocolate cake batter, peanut butter, and a special game-day cookie debuting at the ballpark.

But Crumbl isn't the only new addition to Busch Stadium this season. The St. Louis-based ballpark is also introducing an Asian-inspired stand cleverly named Intentional Wok, a second Freddy’s location, and a Latin-inspired eatery called Mayo Ketchup.

As someone who has visited 29 of 30 Major League Baseball ballparks, I’d say Busch Stadium ranks among the better ones when it comes to food options. Now, with Crumbl available, fans can satisfy their sweet tooth with something beyond the usual Dippin’ Dots or cotton candy — though be prepared to likely spend at least $8 per cookie.

Either way, discovering new ballpark food is always part of the fun. After all, what’s better than watching your favorite players take the field while enjoying an unexpected culinary creation?

So whether you're attending Opening Day or not, enjoy the start of what will hopefully be another exciting MLB season. And if you're at Busch Stadium, maybe consider grabbing a Crumbl Cookie.
