In May, Cafe Bustelo unveiled four new varieties of ground coffee. While the brand is actually known for an espresso style of coffee, these new blends are not only a bit less intense, but it also gave us a brand new flavor to fall in love with.
Cafe Bustelo not only released a light roast ground coffee, but also a medium roast and a dark roast. And then to really kick things up a notch for the summer, they also unveiled a new Dulce de Leche flavor of ground coffee that can also be purchased in K cups.
We had the opportunity to try all four of these new varieties of ground coffee, and I have to say that the Dulce de Leche is truly a must try. It’s decadent and rich, with a very creamy caramel flavor. But it was not the only winner from the brand.
Cafe Bustelo brings quality and flavor to our mornings with four new ground coffee options

Honestly, I really liked the light roast more than I expected because it does have fruity notes to it, but they weren’t overpowering. It was a great way to start the day, but at the same time, it’s definitely something I can see myself sipping on all day long. Usually, I prefer a medium roast in the morning, however, Cafe Bustelo may have changed that with this particular coffee.
My father is more of a dark roast person and he really did enjoy this particular blend, which was bold and full flavored. I personally don’t love dark roast. But it was still good. It’s just not my preferred coffee. I added a lot of creamer to this one, but this is just a personal thing. I do believe if I liked a darker roast, this would be a great option. I just prefer the light and medium roasts.
I truly believe that the Dulce de Leche is perfect for a dessert coffee, or for changing things up in the morning. I really liked the smoothness of this particular coffee and I was able to enjoy it over ice as well as hot.
When it comes to quality coffee, there is no denying that Cafe Bustelo is top-tier. I would absolutely snag this coffee in bags or as K cups for my Keurig all year long.
