We may have a while to wait for the next season of Bridgerton on Netflix, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t go back and watch the first three seasons, read the books and maybe channel our inner Bridgerton. And what better way to get a feel for the ton then by baking up some afternoon tea inspired treats.
Recently, Betty Crocker announced that they were releasing new kits inspired by the Netflix series. These kits allow us to create amazing treats in our kitchen that are elegant, whimsical, and downright delicious.
The three treats from Betty Crocker are petite strawberry scones, petite sponge cake, and creme puffs. And we had the chance to try all three of these kits. Not only are the ingredients pre-mixed, but each kit includes relatively easy instructions and the piping bags we need to put our treats together.
I have to say that these were surprisingly easy desserts to put together. They made me wish I was hosting my very own tea party at home. There was something magical about being able to easily create these desserts at home, and the fact that they were truly delicious was a win overall.

I am a fan of scones so I had a feeling I would enjoy the petite strawberry scone kit and I was right. That one was delicious. In fact, I would buy that one over and over again. And I have to say that the petite sponge cake kit was also a lot of fun to make and quite tasty.
Surprisingly for me, the one that I had the most issue with was the crème puff kit. It didn’t hit quite the same way as the other two treats. And I’m not sure if that’s a me thing or the recipe. I have definitely had cream puffs in the past And I do enjoy them. But this one wasn’t a win for me for some reason.
I have to say that Betty Crocker always delivers. And while the cream puffs may not have been my favorite, I did love all three of these kits overall. In fact, I would host an afternoon tea party just to show off these goodies.
The fact that they are $6.99 each from Walmart makes them easy to snag if you are a fan of Bridgerton. And they are a great way to spend the time as we have to wait for the next season to drop on Netflix.
Now we just need Betty Crocker to give us even more Bridgerton inspired baking kits to really keep us going until the ton returns.
