Much like days getting hotter, one of the telling signs of summer's arrival is when the Peach Milkshake makes its triumphant return to the menus at Chick-fil-A. And this year is no different, as the shake is set to return for the 16th straight year.

Starting June 9 and available through August 15, the Peach Milkshake will arrive at Chick-fil-A locations nationwide. The shake blends Chick-fil-A’s signature Icedream dessert with peaches, topped with whipped cream and a cherry.

But this year, that's not all when it comes to peach offerings from the popular fast food chain. Joining the Peach Milkshake is a Peach Frosted Lemonade that can be ordered with either regular or diet lemonade. Both drinks are perfect for cooling off when the summer heat hits.

“There’s something about the Peach Milkshake that really feels like the start of summer, and for 16 years our Guests have expected – and anticipated – its return,” said Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A in a press release. “As we continue to surprise and delight our Guests with new and unique flavors throughout the year, we wanted to offer a spin on the peach taste everyone knows and loves with the Peach Frosted Lemonade."

And if you’ve fallen for the Pineapple Dragonfruit beverages, you’re in luck. Originally intended for the limited-time spring menu, these tropical drinks have earned an extended stay through Aug. 15 due to overwhelming popularity.

I'm not sure about you, but whether it be the Frosted Lemonade or Milkshake, there's something very refreshing about either of these options — especially when the summer heat starts to beam down.

While the Peppermint Shake will always be my personal favorite, the peach version delivers a sweet seasonal twist. And the Pineapple Dragonfruit drinks? Another incentive to swing by and cool off.

So, maybe give this a try with the Chick-n-Strips - a recommendation mentioned by Chick-fil-A in the press release.

And Chick-fil-A, if you're reading this, please bring the spicy Chick-n-Strips to the States, like the delicious ones that I was fortunate enough to have while in Toronto recently.
