Last year, Chick-fil-A surprised us with the return of the sweet and indulgent Banana Pudding Shake, a fan favorite that hadn’t been on the menu since 2011. So, what does the fast-food chain have in store for 2025? They’ve brought back two popular drinks and a beloved sandwich, all making their way to menus this winter.
Key Lime drinks and the Grilled Spicy Deluxe are back
Starting Tuesday, Chick-fil-A is reintroducing three fan-favorite items. On the beverage side, the Key Lime Lemonade and Frosted Key Lime Lemonade are making a comeback for the first time since their two-month limited run in 2019. Both feature a natural Key Lime flavor, with the frosted version incorporating Chick-fil-A’s signature ice cream for a creamy, refreshing twist.
On the food front, the Grilled Spicy Deluxe is returning. Originally launched in 2021, this sandwich has reappeared on the menu multiple times. It features a grilled chicken breast marinated in a blend of peppers, topped with Colby Jack cheese, green leaf lettuce, tomato, and a creamy cilantro sauce, all served on a toasted multigrain brioche bun.
"Winter is a great time to bring back the Grilled Spicy Deluxe, a sandwich that packs the flavor in a layer, while bringing the spice our Guests crave at this time of year," said Allison Duncan, director of menu and packaging at Chick-fil-A in a press release. "The sandwich pairs perfectly with the new Key Lime beverages, which offer a cool and creamy component and brighten up our menu offerings to beat those winter blues."
While lime may not scream “winter flavor” to everyone, it does offer a refreshing brightness that feels like a welcome escape from the season’s gloom. Much like a cherry limeade, there is something special about that sweet yet tart taste.
Pair it with the Grilled Spicy Deluxe, and you’ve got a winning combo for your next Chick-fil-A visit.
