If you are looking for a savory lunch or dinner option then you may want to give their Louisiana-Style Shrimp Skillet a try. This meal is perfect for people honoring Lent and features grilled shrimp that have a Creole sauce over them. The dish has seasoned rice, a side of your choice and a parmesan bread perfect for getting every drop of that Creole sauce. This was definitely a favorite of the new additions, at least for me, as I found this to be loaded with flavor.
Can you ever go wrong with Shrimp n' Grits? I think not! And this is one of those menu items that is perfect all day long. While it is technically on the more savory side for dinner, that doesn't mean it isn't perfect for breakfast as well. To make it a more breakfast friendly meal, why not add some eggs on the side. I have never had bad grits at Cracker Barrel, so this is definitely on the list for what to try if you are looking for seasonal inspiration.
In pancakes are more your thing, then you are in luck, as Cracker Barrel is definitely going all out this Spring. And they are starting things off with their OREO® Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes. I mean, do I have to say anything else for this one? This is dessert pancakes if there ever was such a thing.
Another new addition to the Cracker Barrel menu this Spring is Signature Pancake Platters. These platter come in six flavors of toppings, which means there really is something for everyone with this breakfast ready dish. According to Cracker Barrel, you can choose between, "Blueberry, Pecan, Chocolate Chip, Fresh Strawberry, Cinnamon Spiced Apples and Country Peach." And to really make it a meal, these platters come with your choice of either sausage or bacon, as well as an egg cooked to order.
Honestly, I love Cracker Barrel for breakfast and beyond. And no matter when you go, you will end up enjoying a tasty experience that will keep you coming back for more.
