Crumbl has a new cake on the menu, as their returning cookies are inspired by non-cookie treats
It's a new week at Crumbl Cookies, and that means we have a brand new treat to try. For the week of October 21 to 26, Crumbl fans will be able to try the brand's latest non-cookie treat, a Banana Upside Down Cake.
While the Banana Upside Down Cake has been talked about recently as one of the products being tested at Crumbl locations, we didn't really get a lot of details about this new sweet treat. But according to the brand's description of this new cake, we expect to get "a gooey banana cake drenched in a toffee glaze, topped with a vanilla bean whipped cream dollop, and then finished with a drizzle of more toffee glaze." If you love bananas, this treat will likely be a must try, especially if you enjoyed the banana bread that they released this summer.
Of course, if you are like us you are really here for what the returning cookie flavors are for the week. So what exactly are the cookies on the menu for the week of October 21-26?
What is on the Crumbl Cookies menu for October 21-26?
- Banana Upside Down Cake
- Pink Velvet Cake Cookie - According to Crumbl, this cookie is "a velvety cake batter cookie topped with a layer of vanilla cream cheese frosting and pink velvet cookie crumbs." It is basically a play off of the iconic red velvet, but in a softer way. If you are a fan of all things pink, this cookie is perfect for you.
- Kentucky Butter Cake Cookie - Take a yellow cake and make it into a cookie and you have the base of the Kentucy Butter Cake Cookie from Crumbl. It then gets coated in a buttery glaze, before a sprinkle of powdered sugar completes the picture. This is an iconic dessert, and one that is perfectly realized in the form of a cookie.
- Confetti Milkshake Cookie - Inspired by the iconic milkshake, this cookie starts with a sugar cookie loaded with confetti sprinkles, then it is rolled in sprinkles before a buttercream flavored like cake goes on top. Finally it is finished with a dollop of fresh whipped cream, much like you would find on a classic milkshake. This is a decadent cookie that really satisfies any sweet tooth.
- Sticky Bun Cookie - This cookie is inspired by a classic breakfast offering, and it features a "buttery cookie" that has been filled with a filling of cinnamon sugar. It gets topped with a butterscotch flavored caramel pool that is finished with a streusel of pecan.
- Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie - This is the classic cookie that features a sprinkle of salt on top to bring out more of that chocolatey goodness.
While this menu doesn't feel as Fall inspired as we would have expected for the end of October, we do love these cookies. And we can't wait to give the newest cake in their rotating menu a try.
What do you think of this week's Crumbl menu? What are you excited to try? Are you surprised that the menu doesn't seem to have traditional Fall flavors in it?
