Are you a fan of DiGiorno pizzas? If you are, then you already know that they consistently deliver on quality and taste, no matter what style of crust you choose. And even their toppings are always done right.

As fans of DiGiorno ourselves, we were extremely excited to learn that they were launching Wood Fired Style Crust pizzas just in time for summer. While we are typically fans of their self rising crust, there is no denying that a wood fired crust is going to bring a lot of flavor to the table.

And we were lucky enough to try these new wood fired style crust pizzas for ourselves. Available in four flavors, these pizzas are perfect for anyone who wants to shake things up this summer. Not only do they have a Premium Pepperoni flavor, but you can also get this pizza in Supreme Speciale, Italian Meat Trio, and a Four Cheese variety.

DiGiorno releases new wood fired crust pizzas just in time for summer

I have to say that I am always a fan of a good supreme pizza. There is something about having that variety of toppings that just works. And if you put those toppings on a wood fired crust pizza, I feel like you have a true winner on your hands. And I truly have no words for how good this new DiGiorno pizza was. It was perfection.

There is something about the almost smoky flavor of a wood fired crust that works as a DiGiorno pizza. It adds an element of surprise to every bite that makes you think this was from a pizza shop. In fact, I am seriously thinking that this crust could become a new favorite (knocking the self rising crust out of its top spot).

If I were to rank these four wood fired pizzas, I would have to give the Supreme Speciale the top spot because of the toppings alone, mixed with that perfect crust. But the next three spots would be a toss up because I love DiGiorno. That being said the Pepperoni and the Four Cheese are definitely favorites as well. I think the Italian Meat Trio would be in the fourth spot just because there wasn't really anything breaking up all the meatiness besides the cheese.

DiGiorno knocks this new crust out of the park and I can't wait to see what they come up with next, including more topping options. Are you excited for this new crust style? Let us know over on socials!
