Dorit Kemsley answers our questions about her Rao’s Homemade partnership
Guilty Eats: What made you want to work with Rao’s Homemade?
Dorit Kemsley: “As someone who loves to cook, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Rao’s Homemade. I genuinely use their products in my everyday life! Rao’s Homemade sauces are one of the best way to make a quick and delicious meal for my family that tastes like I spent hours over the stove. I was also so excited to have the chance to work with my fellow Bravo Housewife, Cynthia, and be a part of the first ever Housewives/Top Chef ad spotcrossover!”
GE: What are some of your go to comfort meals?
DK: “My comfort meals definitely revolve around pasta. I spent some time living in Italy with my family, so I can tell you firsthand that there’s nothing like a good pasta dish. I love to keep it simple and chic with just sauce and pasta. Just like my Rao’s Homemade Fusilli with Marinara recipe that was featured in my collaboration with the brand. But I do also love to spice it up sometimes and add a protein or a vegetable too.”
GE: How do you incorporate Rao’s into meal planning?
DK: “It’s great for making dinner in a pinch, so if there’s a night where I didn’t plan ahead, you would never know – you’d think I was making the sauce for hours. It’s a nice way to have a delicious meal on busy nights and perfect for the whole family to enjoy.”
GE: And since we are Guilty Eats, I have to ask…What is your guilty eat?
DK: “My guilty eat is a nice bowl of cacio e pepe, so a partnership with Rao’s was right up my alley!”
