NEW SWICY COLLAB: What Started as an April Fools’ Joke Just Got Real

Is there anything sweeter than getting a chocolate covered fruit delivery to your door? Honestly, it can be such a special feeling to get an Edible Arrangements delivery. And it doesn't matter if you ordered it for yourself or if someone else sent it to you.

But sometimes we want to shake things up, even when it comes to those Edible Arrangements. And that's why when the brand shared the news that they were partnering with Tajin on April Fools' Day, the reaction was overwhelmingly in favor of this combination. It turns out it wasn't a joke at all, but rather a chance to play on the idea of an April Fools' joke, while also seeing what people thought.

Clearly the customers have spoken and Edible Arrangements listened. That's why the Edible x Tajin collab is not only official, but it is fire!

According to Edible Arrangements Chief Marketing Officer, Kevin Keith, "Edible doesn't take itself too seriously! On April Fools 2024, we ‘announced’ a playful pickle arrangement that never made it to the masses, despite requests on social. This year, we wanted to keep consumers on their toes. Announcing our partnership with Tajin around the holiday let us tap into the spirit of the day while sparking curiosity ahead of our official launch. The strong consumer response on our social platforms confirmed what we believed: people are excited about bold, adventurous flavors — and Tajín was the perfect partner to deliver that surprise."

And I have to say that we agree. Edible was the perfect brand to deliver this combination.

Edible Arrangements and Tajin come together for a bold and delicious combination that will make your tastebuds sing

We had the chance to try the Tajin covered chocolate strawberries and pineapple for ourselves. And I have to say that it was an instant win.

As someone who has enjoyed Tajin on mango, I really thought the pineapple pieces were going to be my favorite thing, but I was wrong. If you want magic on your tastebuds, then you absolutely have to try the chocolate covered strawberries dusted in Tajin. The flavors burst on your tongue with the zip of the lime and the heat of the chilies accentuating the juicy sweetness of the strawberries.

While this collaboration is only meant to be for a short period of time, I have to say that it has changed the way that I think of Edible Arrangements. Now I want weekly deliveries of chocolate covered strawberries with a dusting of Tajin in my life. And even after the Tajin exits the Edible kitchen, I might just have to order their strawberries and add my own.

Edible Arrangements never disappoints when it comes to their quality and this is no exception. The only thing I have to note is that since Tajin has salt in it, if your fruit lasts overnight (and you don't eat it all in one sitting), it will sweat and the chocolate will get a little soggy. (It was still delicious, but it wasn't as crisp of a bite as when you first get the fruit.)

I loved everything about this collaboration and I definitely think if you enjoy Tajin and chocolate covered fruit, then you will too.
