If you love bananas, then March 2025 is definitely your month. And one restaurant that is embracing this popular fruit is Denny's.
According to a press email we received on behalf of Denny's, it seems that the casual dining restaurant is adding three banana forward dishes to the menu. But it is not just about the bananas, as these dishes also featured salted caramel.
So what are the three menu items that have us going bananas at Denny's?
- Salted Caramel Banana Waffle Slam
- Salted Caramel Banana Pancake Slam
- Salted Caramel Banana Stuffed French Toast Slam
For anyone unfamiliar with the Slams at Denny's, these are their breakfast combos! These combos feature the main breakfast item (in this case the pancake, waffle, or stuffed French toast), as well as eggs, sausage, and bacon.
Denny's is going bold with flavors in March 2025
Honestly, these all sound delicious, especially the French Toast Slam which features "Brioche French Toast stuffed with sweet cream cheese, topped with bananas, salted caramel, and powdered sugar, plus eggs, bacon, and sausage." That being said, if you like bananas and caramel, then all three of these breakfast entrees sound amazing.
However, Denny's is not just giving us banana dishes in March, as it turns out that they are also offering new Slammin’ Sodas. But what are Slammin’ Sodas? Apparently these are drinks made with a soda such as Dr Pepper, Sprite or Coca-Cola that then have sweet cream and lime added to them. For me, this sounds like creating an elevated cream soda and I am here for that.
If you want to give these new sodas a try, you are in luck because Denny's is even offering a special promotion so that customers can experience the Slammin' Sodas for themselves. "From March 10-March 16, guests can get a FREE Slammin’ Soda with purchase of an entree." This means that you could order one of the Salted Caramel Waffle Slam meals and get a Slammin' Soda for free. And that seems like a win to me.
Maybe it is me, but I love that Denny's is keeping things fresh in March. And that includes going bananas with their Slams and adding specialty fizzy drinks that will keep us coming back for more.
