We have reached the end of February and that means that many people are starting to think of Lent. In the leadup to Easter, many people give up meat on certain days and stick to either fish or something vegetarian. And with Lent running from March 5 through April 17 this year, you might be looking for places that are going to have those fish sandwiches and more. Luckily for us, there are plenty of restaurants that will be giving us what we need (and want), including Freddy's.
Ahead of Lent, Freddy's is bringing back their iconic Deluxe Crispy Fish Sandwich. Arriving on the menu February 26, this fish sandwich is flaky, crispy and made-to-order.
The Deluxe Crispy Fish Sandwich is back at Freddy's just in time for Lent
According to the press email we received on behalf of Freddy's, "the cooked-to-order Deluxe Crispy Fish Sandwich is made with a four-ounce filet of battered flounder topped with tartar sauce, lettuce, pickles and American cheese, all on a toasted bun." This sounds perfect for anyone looking for a quick and easy meal that is also delicious.
In an effort to really get people ready for the Lenten season, Freddy's is offering their Deluxe Crispy Fish Sandwich from February 26 through April 22. This means that you can enjoy the sandwich whenever you want during that time period.
Just in case you are looking to skip the fish this Lent, you do have at least one more option from Freddy's that will take the place of the meat. And that would be their Veggie Burger, which is a black bean burger. You can get that alone or as a combo meal, much like you will be able to get the Deluxe Crispy Fish Sandwich.
If you are looking for a quick, meat-free meal that is also tasty, you may want to give Freddy's a try. You won't be disappointed.
