Every year in late April, one of the best holidays on the food calendar rolls around — and this year is no different. We’re once again celebrating the twisted joy of National Pretzel Day this Saturday.
I don't know about you, but I will again be doing my best Stanley Hudson impression and enjoying one of the better snacks out there to commemorate the holiday. And if you want to join in on the fun, here are the places that will be having special deals.
Auntie Anne's
For anyone who has the app, which is super easy to download if you don't already, you'll have the ability to redeem a free cinnamon sugar or original pretzel from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. local time. And while that might be a small window of time, nothing beats an Auntie Anne's pretzel, especially when they are fresh and buttery.
Philadelphia Pretzel Factory
Although not everyone has a Philadelphia Pretzel Factory near them, this is an easy promotion to take advantage of. All you have to do is show up, and you will get a pretzel and a sticker. And while the pretzel is awesome, who can say no to a free sticker?
Pretzelmaker
Sometimes, heading to the App Store to add a new app to your phone can be both a minor inconvenience and an invitation to indulge in more junk food than necessary, which is where Pretzelmaker comes in. For the duration of the pretzel holiday, anyone interested can grab a free order of the small Original Pretzel Bites.
Wetzel's Pretzels
Much like Pretzelmaker, if downloading new apps isn't your thing, this one is another where you just simply have to walk in to get your pretzel. As far as the parameters go, you can visit a location from 3pm local time until close. Which means that if you do already have the Auntie Anne's app, you could get pretzels from two different places.
As you can see, there are plenty of ways to celebrate National Pretzel Day. And don’t forget to check out local spots, too — many may have special deals of their own.
