Easter might be right around the corner, but eggs are expensive. And whether your Easter tradition includes hunting for eggs or potentially egging something, we are not here for that in the year 2025. Luckily for us, Cadbury and Reese‘s are trying to flip the script on that old tradition (at least the egging one).
Ahead of Easter 2025, both Reese's and Cadbury have decided to team up with HGTV’s Jasmine Roth to reinvent the idea of egging houses. So what exactly is this new form of egging?
According to the email that we received, for 2025 egging is about spreading good feelings with your friends, family, and even the neighbors. Why not give a little bit of Easter magic with festive treats and the perfect seasonal decor? As part of the partnership between Jasmine Roth, and both Cadbury and Reese‘s, Roth has shared some tips and tricks for this new style of egging. And yes, both the Reese's Peanut Butter eggs and the Cadbury eggs are involved!

As Reese's and Cadbury explain, "If you’re wondering what 'egging' is, it’s surprising loved ones by decorating their front porch, office or classroom with treats and Easter decor. Then they pass the fun on to someone else."
Put together a tasty basket with a lot of color and whimsy or even just find ways to hide some treats in obvious places. You don't have to go overboard to have a lot of fun this Easter.
If you want to spread a little bit of Easter cheer this year, you can head on over to the Hersheyland.com website where some of Jasmine‘s tips and tricks for egging your friends and family can be found. There is even a sign you can download to share that says, "You've Been Egged." Instead of pranking people, this is all about spreading some love and cheer. And what says cheer more than two of our favorite seasonal eggs?
As big fans of both Reese's and Cadbury eggs, we love that they are flipping the script on what is basically an outdated tradition. And there is something to be said about finding a way to bring some Easter cheer to friends and family. After all, who wouldn't enjoy a sweet treat on your front porch or even at your desk?
This could be the start of beautiful tradition. And we love that it entails a little bit of egging.
