Did you know that October 14 is National Dessert Day? Considering we love sweet treats, we are all about a day dedicated to all things dessert. And of course, we love when restaurants get in on the fun with special deals and offers. For fans of Red Robin, heading to your local restaurant for Dessert Day might just be the perfect way to celebrate all things sweet and tasty.

In honor of National Dessert Day, Red Robin is also celebrating Monster Monday with a sweet deal on their Monster Milkshake! According to the press email we received about National Dessert Day at Red Robin, "celebrate Dessert Day (10/14) with Monster Milkshakes, part of Red Robin’s Monster Mondays deal. Available in chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla, guests can enjoy this creamy treat for just $4, with a refill tin included."

You can never go wrong with ice cream for dessert. And once you turn it into a milkshake, you have the ultimate treat.

Celebrate National Dessert Day at Red Robin with some sweet treats

While the Monster Milkshake is the official deal of the day for Dessert Day, there are some other sweet treats you can enjoy at Red Robin as well. In fact, they have on sweet treat we absolutely need to try for ourselves.

The two newest addition to the Red Robin menu are a Shortbread Chocolate Soufflé Cake and a Lemon Cream Layer Cake! And while we absolutely want to give the Shortbread Chocolate Soufflé Cake a try, it is the Lemon Cream Layer Cake that officially has our hearts (and that we have to try ASAP).

For the Shortbread dessert, here's how Red Robin described their new treat:

"Made with one of the finest chocolates in the world, Callebaut chocolate, this half rich, buttery shortbread cookie and half chocolate soufflé cake, is two desserts in one! Topped with ice cream, hot fudge and whipped cream and dusted with powdered sugar."

And for our Lemon Cake, this is how Red Robin breaks it down:

"Bright and refreshing lemon cake layered with scratch-made lemon curd and lemon cream cheese frosting. Dusted with lemon sugar and served on strawberry purée with whipped cream."
