As a kid, popsicles were a childhood staple. Whether it was grabbing one from the ice cream truck that rolled around on a hot summer day or throwing it into the cart at Walmart when we went grocery shopping, these simple treats were among the best — especially on a hot summer day.
Now, in 2025, a new creation has come along that puts a smile on my face like those popsicles did back then. That latest innovation is the Trolli Gummi Pop, which is now arriving in frozen aisles across the country.
Over the years, I’ve tried plenty of popsicle brands, including classics like the Bomb Pop. But I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite as unique as this. Thanks to Trolli, I had the chance to give it a try.
As a gummy worm fan and popsicle lover, my expectations were high. The Gummi Pop comes in two flavors: cherry lemon and grape strawberry. I found the grape strawberry to be more enjoyable.
When I unwrapped it, the popsicle had a flappy, gummy appearance — reminiscent of the iconic gummy worms we all know and love.
After the first bite, though, I found it to be a little too sweet for my taste. And to be honest, I wasn’t a big fan of the whole gummy-popsicle combo.
Even so, if you're someone who enjoys trying new popsicle concepts, I still recommend giving this one a shot. While it was not for me, I think a lot of people will find it fun and tasty.
