Is Chick-fil-A open on Thanksgiving? Here’s what you need to know

With Thanksgiving upon us, you might be planning your holiday meals. For some of us that means going all out and cooking a full feast, well for others it could be finding someone else to do the cooking for us.

We are definitely in the latter category, and we are always trying to figure out which restaurants are open or closed on Thanksgiving. In this case, we wanted to know whether or not Chick-fil-A would be open so that we could just go with a chicken inspired Thanksgiving meal. Unfortunately for us, we’re going to have to skip the chicken if we go on Thanksgiving day.

However, even with Chick-fil-A being closed on Thanksgiving (November 28), that doesn’t mean you can’t have your Thanksgiving catered by Chick-fil-A. You would just have to pick up the day before. In fact, on their customer support page where they talk about their restaurants being closed on Thanksgiving, it’s one of their suggestions.

As they say, “to make sure you have food for your celebration, be sure to order Chick-fil-A, catering, and schedule pick up or delivery before the holiday.”

Chick-fil-A may be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but there are still ways to enjoy them

Obviously, Chick-fil-A catering varies by location. Not only do the prices vary based on where you are, but in some cases, so does what you can order. However, one thing that we have seen across the board is there Chick-fil-A Nugget Trays, as well as their sandwich packaged meals. This alone is two options that could work for you if you still want your chicken inspired Thanksgiving dinner.

There are also options for breakfast catering as well, if your plan is to have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, while not trying to do too much in the morning. For some of us, breakfast is just as important as the Thanksgiving dinner. So having someone else make the breakfast, does make sense.

Or perhaps you are looking for gallons of their sweet tea, lemonade, or even coffee. That is something you could order ahead of time to have on hand at dinner as well.

There are a lot of ways to incorporate Chick-fil-A into your Thanksgiving day, even if they are closed for the holiday. It just requires a bit of pre-planning so that you have what you need the day before.

While Chick-fil-A may not be open on Thanksgiving day, that does not mean that there are not other options to choose from (even beyond fast food options). And that’s where we come in, with all your holiday news and information.
