LA VICTORIA and HERDEZ will elevate your game-day snacking!

Whatever your televised sport of choice is, there are plenty of games to watch this fall. Whether you tailgate or prefer to watch the games on the big screen in the convenience of your home, having ALL the snacks is a must! LA VICTORIA and HERDEZ have got you covered with the salsa and sauces….you just need to bring the chips!
Chips and salsa are the perfect snack. The combo of salty, crunchy tortilla chips dipped in tangy, spicy salsa is a delicious combo. Both LA VICTORIA and HERDEZ have salsa for you, regardless of your spice level - from mild to hot. They both also have a salsa verde of varying spice levels. The HERDEZ Roasted Salsa Roja is tasty on its own. It has a slightly smoky flavor from the fire-roasted tomatoes. The medium heat of this salsa isn’t overpowering, whereas I found the LA VICTORIA Thick ‘n Chunky Salsa medium to be on the spicier side.
LA VICTORIA and HERDEZ shared some recipes with Guilty Eats to showcase the versatility of some of their products that will elevate your game day snacking! As I mentioned, I love chips and salsa. But with a handful of ingredients and a cup of LA VICTORIA Thick ‘n Chunky Salsa you can have a grilled queso ready in just twenty minutes. No grill? No problem. This recipe looks easily adaptable for the stovetop.
I think most of us can agree that chicken wings are a game-day necessity. We'll save the flats versus drums debate for another time. While there are plenty of bottled buffalo wing sauces, it’s so easy to make your own. LA VICTORIA SALSA BRAVA Hot Sauce mixed with butter, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and spices makes a quick and delicious Buffalo Sauce.
HERDEZ and LA VICTORIA have some recipes to help elevate your game-day snacking!
HERDEZ shared this recipe for a Hot Layered Dip. Layering ingredients like bean dip, sour cream, cheddar cheese, corn, salsa, and chicken, this is an appetizer that is sure to please! A vegetarian version can be made by omitting the chicken.
HERDEZ makes several different flavors of Taqueria Street Sauce. They shared a recipe for Salsa Caviar containing the Cilantro lime-flavored sauce, which sounds delicious. This is their take on the super popular Cowboy Caviar that uses salsa in place of the tomatoes and peppers in the traditional recipe.
While these products are great for game day snacks, I also have to add that they are great for everyday dinners as well. Last week, I made burrito rice bowls for dinner, which my husband doused with the HERDEZ Taqueria Street Sauce! The HERDEZ Roasted Salsa Roja was used to make Breakfast Nachos this week. We always have a bag of tortilla chips around, so no salsa went to waste!
So, if you want to try making some of these recipes the next time you’re prepping to watch the big game, stock up on these products by heading to your local Walmart or adding them to your next Amazon order.
