A little over a month ago, we reported that Noodles & Company was unveiling three new pasta dishes to join its wide-ranging menu. Along with the new releases, the company promised more innovative concepts were on the way. Now, the brand is delivering on that promise with three test dishes set to debut in select U.S. markets before a potential nationwide rollout.

Three mac-tastic creations heading to select markets in three states

If you’re a mac and cheese enthusiast living in Colorado, Illinois, or Ohio, you might get a chance to try these new creations. Be sure to check the Noodles & Company website to see if your local restaurant is participating in the test.

Per PR provided by Noodles and Company to Guilty Eats, here are the test options coming to markets in the states listed above:

  • Buffalo Chicken Ranch Mac & Cheese: Elbow noodles tossed in a creamy cheddar and jack cheese sauce, topped with parmesan-crusted chicken, buffalo sauce, green onions, crispy onions and a drizzle of ranch.
  • Garlic Bacon Crunch Mac & Cheese: Elbow noodles tossed in a creamy garlic cheddar sauce, with bacon and white cheddar, topped with bacon, crispy onions, parmesan cheese, and fresh herbs.
  • Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese: Elbow noodles tossed in a creamy cheddar and jack sauce, topped with smoky pulled pork, tangy BBQ sauce, green onions, and crispy onions.

Unfortunately for me, I don’t live in one of the test states. However, I’m optimistic these dishes will eventually see a nationwide release.

If I had to choose right now, I’d go with the pulled pork option. Although, I think brisket would be the ultimate pairing for barbecue mac and cheese.

Will you be trying any of these if they are available in your market? Which one sounds the best to you?
