When searching for tasty carbs, one of the best places to visit is Noodles & Company. With comfort classics like their Wisconsin Mac and Cheese and Buttered Noodles to options for those with a more refined palate like Spicy Korean Steak Noodles and Pasta Fresca -- there is something for everyone. And if you crave new options, the fast-casual restaurant has you covered with three new pastas.

Available now are three new menu additions focused on bringing fresh and delicious options to hungry Noodles & Company visitors. Here are the new pasta dishes that can be found nationwide:

  • Lemon Garlic Shrimp Scampi: Grilled shrimp, roasted tomatoes, and fresh artichokes.
  • Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi: Smoky chipotle sauce, roasted red peppers, and chicken paired with spiral cavatappi noodles.
  • Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo: 4-cheese alfredo sauce, crispy bacon, and broccoli.

"Our new Lemon Garlic Shrimp Scampi, Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi, and Crispy Chicken Bacon Alfredo are just the beginning for Noodles & Company," said Scott Davis, Chief Concept Officer at Noodles & Company, in a press release provided to Guilty Eats.

Options to consider for the next visit

While I often go for the mac and cheese or buttered noodles, I am intrigued by two of the options: Chipotle Chicken Cavatappi and the Lemon Garlic Shrimp Scampi. I feel like both of these sound pretty tasty, and shrimp scampi has always been one of my favorite dishes.

That said, it's smart for the company to expand its menu and develop new items. One of the things that makes them a quality fast-casual option is the ability to choose from many different noodle options, making them unique from other spots.

More noodle innovations to come

On that note, Noodles & Company has said that more changes will come, meaning we must wait and see where they go from here.

But in the meantime, what new pasta addition will you be trying during your next visit? Do these options intrigue you?
