As millions begin to create their brackets, the quest for perfection begins Thursday, with the first round officially tipping off. And with an 8-9 matchup between Louisville and Creighton getting things started, 50% of brackets will likely fall short of perfection from that matchup alone.
What’s worse than losing one game in your bracket? Seeing your entire bracket busted in the first two days of action. A harsh reality that P.F. Chang’s wants to help you overcome with a free lettuce wrap.
Busted bracket = Lettuce Wraps at P.F. Changs
At this point, it’s safe to say that P.F. Chang’s is here to help with life’s inconveniences. In the past, they’ve helped with being ghosted, getting that second date, and now, they’re helping you deal with the pain of a busted bracket.
Here’s how it works: From March 20 to April 7, as part of their “Busted Bracket? Lettuce Help” program, you can visit a P.F. Chang’s and show them your less-than-perfect bracket — whether as a screenshot or a printed version that was one step away from the trash can. In return, you’ll have the option to receive either Chicken or Veggie Lettuce Wraps with the purchase of an entrée.
"Tournament season brings a mix of emotions for fans, and we understand how tough it can be when your bracket gets busted," said Sonika Patel, Chief Marketing Officer at P.F. Changs in a press release. "Our Lettuce Wraps have been a fan favorite for decades, and we hope they bring a little comfort to those dealing with the highs and lows of tournament season.
Now, as you sit there and consider those upsets and who your eventual champion will be, at least you know that P.F. Chang’s has your back if your bracket gets busted.
Besides, there’s always a Cinderella that shocks the world. Just ask NC State, which went all the way to the Final Four last year, or look at the legendary heroics of Jack Gohlke at Oakland.
