Tomorrow is July 4th, and with it comes fireworks. But what if you want fireworks of flavor in your mouth? Don’t worry, 7-Eleven has the hook-up with a bunch of new food items on offer. And the even better news is that yes, 7-Eleven is open on the Fourth of July.

Per a statement provided to Guilty Eats by 7-Eleven, “7-Eleven strives to be the first choice for convenience for our customers – anytime, anywhere, including during holidays when other retailers might be closed. While exact hours of operation might differ from location to location, most 7-Eleven stores are usually open 24/7. In addition, through 7NOW and third-party delivery providers, we offer best-in-class delivery of food, convenience, and grocery items. Delivery via 7NOW is available throughout the U.S. and Canada, providing 24/7 delivery in about 30 minutes or less of over 3,000 products, including groceries, over-the-counter medicines, household goods, a range of food and beverage options including pizza and Slurpee drinks, beer, and wine, and more.”

That’s a long way of saying “Check with your local 7-Eleven before you head over there on July 4,” but what you really want to know about is the newest items at the chain. They include chicken nuggets, new taquitos, and more.

Let’s start with the chicken nuggets, which are offered for the first time at 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes stores. Along with chicken nuggets – you know what those are – the chain will offer three sauces: BBQ, buffalo, and ranch.

Next up are the new taquitos. If you’re a breakfast taquito fan, you’ll want to snag the Breakfast Skillet Taquito, which has eggs, pork sausage, bell peppers, onions, and cheddar cheese. Prefer your lunch in taquitos form? Then how about the Philly Cheesesteak Taquito, a limited edition item (meaning you’ll want to keep one on your shelf for posterity) with steak strips, beef crumbles, roasted peppers, cheddar cheese, and caramelized onions. The best part is that you can grab two taquitos for $3, which, as an OG 7-Eleven taquito apologist seems like a great deal to me.

Next up is a breakfast pizza – for real. The Personal Breakfast Pizza is five inches of breakfast goodness with a biscuit crust covered with gravy, ham, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.

You’re going to want a drink to go with that, and you can now get 7-Select Zero Sugar Juice and Tea. The new bevvies include Zero Sugar Fruit Punch, Zero Sugar Kiwi Strawberry, and Zero Sugar Sweet Tea, all in 23.9 ounce form, two for $2.50.

So there you go! Head to 7-Eleven today for all these new items, and maybe tomorrow as well. Just be sure to check, first.
