Recently Chef Boyardee unveiled their latest culinary creation. And unlike before, these meals were not coming to us in a can. Instead, Chef Boyardee has decided to branch out and give us frozen skillet meals.

For their initial foray into the world of the freezer section of the grocery store, Chef Boyardee decided to keep things simple with just three meal options to choose from. The three options are a Chicken Alfredo skillet meal, a Spaghetti and Meatballs meal, and a Cheese Ravioli in sauce. The cheese ravioli was no surprise, as the brand is well known for their raviolis.

I had the chance to try all three of these skillet meals. And as a fan of Chef Boyardee from when I was a child, I admit that I was hopeful going into this taste test. And thankfully, I was not disappointed.

I have to admit that my favorite meal was absolutely the cheese ravioli. These were even better than the canned raviolis they make and actually reminded me of some of the other brands currently on the market in the freezer aisle of the grocery store.

These cheese ravioli had a tasty sauce included and made meal time a breeze. And I am not going to lie, but if Chef Boyardee ends up offering their meat raviolis as a frozen skillet meal, I will be stocking up my freezer immediately.

The other two skillet meals, were also quite tasty, although I have to say that the meatballs in the Spaghetti and Meatballs dinner weren't my favorite. That being said, I have to say that I am extremely picky about meatballs because I will forever believe that my grandmother made the very best meatballs. I think this might be a win for other people, but for me this is the one skillet meal I would not pick up again.

Finally we have the Chicken Alfredo. And I have to say that I love a good Alfredo dish, so this was the one I was looking forward to the most. This was definitely a tasty option for people like me who love Chicken Alfredo. And I am already planning my next trip to the store to grab another bag because I really want to try adding broccoli to this skillet meal to see how that turns out.

Honestly, all three skillet meals were surprisingly good. And I really hope that Chef Boyardee decides to expand their line of frozen meals. I would love to see them adding their meat raviolis to the frozen aisle at the very least.

Have you had a chance to try Chef Boyardee frozen skillet meals yet? Will you be giving these meals a try for yourself?
