Bake up the perfect Valentine's Day cookies with Pillsbury

Valentine's Day is nearly here and sweet treats are always a winner when it comes to celebrating the day of love. For us, cookies are always a great choice when it comes to both snacking of any kind and even baking up something for a loved one. And luckily for us Pillsbury always has us covered with their ready to bake (and even in some cases safe to eat raw) cookie doughs.

Recently as we walked through the refrigerated section of our local grocery store, we came across a variety of Pillsbury cookie doughs that we thought were perfect for celebrating Valentine's Day with. And yes, one of those cookie doughs was the Lisa Frank limited edition unicorn shape cookies. Considering this is actually the first time we have found this one in a store near us, we couldn't help but think it was perfect for Valentine's Day thanks to the colorway of the unicorn.

Of course, if unicorns and Lisa Frank are not your thing, that's okay too as Pillsbury has us covered. In fact, just in time for Valentine's Day, they have once again brought back their heart shape cookies as well. And since these are a classic of the season, we love to see it.

Honestly, while we usually opt for chocolate chip cookie dough or even a double chocolate chunk, there is something to be said about a classic sugar cookie flavor. And if you are going to opt for a sugar cookie, why not have fun with it.

We are big fans of Pillsbury and both their baking treats and their already baked goods. But there is something about the seasonal cookie doughs that we can't resist.

We love the fact that Pillsbury chose to once again give us the heart shape sugar cookie dough, and we can only hope that means that the St. Patrick's Day and Easter shapes will hit the shelves soon as well.
