Best Snacks of 2023: Kimberley's Picks

Every year, major brands drop new snacks for us to fall in love with. And whether it is a fresh take on a classic or something completely new, there are some snacks that we can't resist. In 2023, there were plenty of returning favorites, new treats, and limited edition offerings that made the perfect snack.

As we look ahead to a whole new year of treats, we can't help but want to do a look back at some of our favorite snacks from 2023. And considering how many snacks and foods we tried in 2023, there are a lot to choose from!

As the expert for Guilty Eats, it can be hard to choose just a few favorites. However, there were definitely some foodie items I tried in 2023 that deserve a second look.

Honey Bunches of Oats Frosted Bunches: Cereal is definitely a favorite snack in my house and I am always looking for new options to shake things up. Luckily for me, Post Consumer Brands knew exactly what they were doing when they released the Honey Bunches of Oats Frosted Bunches, which was a flavorful cereal that hit the spot with every bite.

Reese’s Caramel Big Cup: Can you ever go wrong with a Reese's Cup? Absolutely not! And when you add in some caramel with that peanut butter and chocolate, you just take things to a whole new level of fun. This was definitely a favorite snack as a fan of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and now I can't wait to see what else they have for store for us in 2024.

Tillamook Orange and Cream Ice Cream: We love all things Tillamook and their ice cream is no exception. And one of the new flavors we tried from the brand in 2023 was their Orange and Cream ice cream which was a decadent delight that we used to make an orange creamsicle milkshake.

Blue Bunny Soft Frosted Sugar Cookie Soft Serve: Ice cream is always a winning snack and Blue Bunny definitely delivers delicious options. But their Soft Frosted Sugar Cookie Soft Serve was an unexpected delight that we enjoyed all holiday season long.

Little Bites Pumpkin Muffins: We love Entenmann's products and especially their Little Bites. And during the Fall, we live for their mini pumpkin muffins. These were a winner all around and we hope they come back in 2024.

Cedar's Organic Hot Honey Hummus: I love hummus as a tasty, healthy snack option. And Cedar's has consistently delivered on flavor, quality, and options. And their 2023 release of the Hot Honey Hummus was no exception when it came to a high quality and delicious snacking option.

Snickers Butterscotch Scoop: I love a Snickers bar when I am looking for a quick snack. I usually keep one in my purse at all times and in 2023, they dropped a Butterscotch Scoop flavor that was not only delicious, but brought all the nostalgic feels.

Honestly, there were so many delicious snacks released in 2023, but these are seven of my favorites. Of course, there were a lot of other favorites from the year, including The Glenfiddich x Thierry Atlan Grand Cru Scotch Whisky-Infused Macarons, which were a limited edition treat from the holidays that was literally decadence in a box. Sadly, this is one of those items we doubt we will see again, but if we do maybe it will be on our list of favorites for 2024.
