Burger King is testing mouth-watering new flame-grilled chicken sandwiches, but only in two states

New food alert: Burger King is testing a new chicken sandwich (and wrap) that promises to send your taste buds ablaze! But are these new Flame-Grilled Chicken Sandwiches available in your area? I doubt it! That is, unless you live in select locations in Nebraska and Alabama.

I tried not to make it obvious, but can you tell I'm a little upset? There's nothing more disappointing than not being able to get my hands on a new fast food offering. And I'm sorry, but Nebraska and Alabama seem so random to choose as test kitchens. Why couldn't it be Texas? It is the best state to host new spicy foods, and it so happens I live in Texas so it would've been perfect. Oh well! What's a foodie to do but bring you the news in hopes that the Flame-Grilled Chicken Sandwiches reaches us all very soon? So, here's what we've got!

In the newsletter, Burger King shares how they have long been known for the distinct taste of its flame-grilled beef. No lies detected there. And now, the King wants to tackle chicken (both the chicken sandwich and chicken wrap platforms) by heating up the grill to bring us Flame-Grilled Chicken. What's the catch? Well, patience is going to be the name of the game for the majority of fans.

Beginning Thursday, June 6, fans who stop by select Burger King locations in Omaha, Nebraska, and Huntsville, Alabama, will be able to try the new Flame-Grilled Chicken Sandwich and Flame-Grilled Chicken Wrap. So, if you're lucky enough to live in these areas, congratulations! Please let me know what you think! To everyone else, we'll keep you posted on any details that surface.

Don't worry, the regular grilled chicken isn't going anywhere. The new options (at the noted locations only) will be Classic, Fiery, and Bacon and Swiss Royal Crispy chicken sandwiches with a flame-grilled chicken breast. The chicken wraps will be available in Classic, Fiery, Honey Mustard, Philly, Fiery Bacon, and Bacon and Cheddar.

As for when the rest of the world will be able to enjoy this fiery hot new chicken, we're not sure! Just like all other menu items that fast food chains test, if the Flame-Grilled Chicken is a hot success, it'll likely become available at other markets. Fingers crossed that it's before the end of summer 2024!
