Café Bustelo is a staple of the coffee aisle in your supermarket or local bodega. From the iconic yellow can of ground coffee, to K-cups and more, you know Café Bustelo on sight because that yellow color is brighter than the sun that hideously tries to wake you up every morning, and a pox on that flame ball – at least until you have your morning coffee. But now, Café Bustelo is making it even easier to get your fix thanks to a line of iced coffee beverages hitting the refrigerator aisle.

“In recent years, we’ve started to see many of our coffee customers, both young and old, reach more and more for iced coffee – but they still want that iconic flavor of Café Bustelo’s espresso style roasts that they love,” said Eduardo S. Merino, Senior Brand Manager of Café Bustelo said via a press release provided to Guilty Eats. “This new product intentionally combines our nearly century-long mastery of coffee with a cold and refreshing taste for an iced coffee that is brand-new, but somehow feels completely familiar to our Café Bustelo family ¡Salud!”

So what can one expect from the new coffee “on ice?” And to be clear, it is not actually served with permanent ice cubes, nor is it part of an ice skating spectacular. It is, however, stored in your fridge. And you can add ice yourself. You all know how ice works? I hope?

Anywho, the three flavors of the Espresso Style Iced Coffee are Sweetened, Unsweetened and Vainilla. No, I didn’t misspell that last one… Café Bustelo was born in East Harlem, but has Latin roots – so they use the Spanish spelling for vanilla. And in fact, the actual names of the first two flavors are Con Azúcar (“with sugar”) or Sin Azúcar (“without sugar”).

Language lesson out of the way, all three are tasty enough to sip right out of the fridge, though of course you can add milk and/or sugar to your heart’s delight.

All three flavors come in 40 ounce bottles, and are available at Target stores everywhere now. Of note, the Vainilla is a Target exclusive, but the other two flavors will be coming to Walmart and Kroger stores in the near future.

So why don’t you bust on over to Target now and say ‘elo to your new favorite coffee drink?
