Are you still trying to figure out what to eat for Easter dinner? Do you need some inspiration? Have you heard of the Honey Baked Ham Company?

We are always looking for holiday ideas and luckily for us, the Honey Baked Ham Company has those for us. Obviously, they are recommending ham for Easter, but that's not all. This year, the brand has a special Easter menu.

So what exactly can we expect for the menu? Not only can we snag their signature bone-in ham, but the menu includes a variety of options including sliders, sides, and more. The menu for Easter is broken down to include a Signature Honey Baked Ham Meal, a Half Boneless Ham Meal, a Take & Bake Ham with Cheddar Biscuits, and even Take & Bake Sliders. But what does that mean in terms of what you get? Check out the full Easter menu below.

"Signature Honey Baked Ham Meal: A bone-in-half ham topped with HoneyBaked’s signature sweet and crunchy glaze. Choose from two Heat & Serve sides such as Maple Sweet Potato Souffle, Double Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese, Cheesy Potatoes Au Gratin, or Baked Cinnamon Apples.
Half Boneless Ham Meal: A boneless half ham topped with HoneyBaked’s signature sweet and crunchy glaze. Choose from four Heat & Serve sides.
Take & Bake Ham & Cheddar Biscuits: Take & Bake biscuits feature Honey Baked Ham & cheddar cheese generously piled on eight Southern-style buttermilk biscuits and topped with savory Garlic Herb Butter and Sweet Honey Glaze Sauce. Just bake for 20 minutes.
Take & Bake Sliders: A 12-pack of sliders available in two flavors, original Ham & Swiss, or savory Garlic Herb Turkey & Cheddar. Both served on King’s Hawaiian Rolls and ready in 20 minutes."

Honey Baked Ham Company

The entire menu sounds amazing. We love the fact that it really feels like there’s something for everyone to choose from. Not only can you feed a small family, but you can feed a larger one as well. And not only that, but it doesn’t feel boring in anyway. This meal feels very complete and inspired. And I have to say, it’s not often that I feel that way when it comes to a ham dinner.

This may be our first time really getting to know the Honey Baked Ham Company, but they are a very popular brand with a lot of famous followers. And based on this, it makes perfect sense why they have so many fans.

On top of learning more about the special menu being offered by Honey Baked Ham Company, we also had a chance to learn more from Brian Heffern who is a Master Glazer for The Honey Baked Ham Company. We asked a few questions that we thought might help people needing some inspiration in the kitchen.

The Honey Baked Ham Company is ready for Easter and you can be too with some tips from their Master Glazer

Guilty Eats: What are some tips you have for preparing a ham that is both flavorful and moist?

Brian Heffern: "Honey Baked Hams are fully-cooked, pre-sliced, and ready to eat. The best way to serve is to remove it from the refrigerator around 30 minutes before you expect guests to arrive. If you prefer your ham warmed, make sure to only heat it by the slice so it stays moist, tender, and flavorful. Heat each pound of slices for 10 minutes at 275 degrees.

If your ham was shipped to you, it will arrive frozen. To thaw, place your frozen Honey Baked Ham in the refrigerator ahead of your planned serving time. Do not thaw a Honey Baked Ham on the counter. Plan ahead and allow for 2 to 3 days of thawing in the refrigerator before serving."

Guilty Eats: What are some suggestions you have for home cooks looking to enjoy any ham leftovers they have?

Brian Heffern: "One of the easiest ways to use Honey Baked Ham is to make sandwiches. Simply add some slices of Honey Baked Ham to your favorite bread, along with some cheese, lettuce, and tomato. You can also add some of HoneyBaked’s Honey Mustard Mayonnaise or Hickory Honey Mustard for extra flavor. I’m also a fan of using King’s Hawaiian Rolls (which are available at HoneyBaked locations) to create quick and easy sliders.

Casseroles are also a great way to use up leftover Honey Baked Ham. Simply combine the ham with some pasta, veggies, and cheese, and bake it in the oven. You can also add some cream of mushroom soup for a creamy and delicious casserole."

Guilty Eats: What makes Honey Baked Ham so special?

Brian Heffern: "Part of the reason HoneyBaked has become an Easter tradition year after year for so many people is the distinctive, delicious flavor of our signature Honey Baked Ham. Each of our hams is handcrafted by hundreds of HoneyBaked’s certified Master Glazers, who use precision, fire torches and a secret blend of ingredients to create the perfectly sweet and crunchy glaze enjoyed by HoneyBaked lovers for over 65 years."

Guilty Eats: What is one thing you wish more people knew about ham?

Brian Heffern: "A lot of behind-the-scenes work goes into ensuring every single Honey Baked Ham is premium, and top-quality. HoneyBaked’s Master Glazers go through rigorous training every year to be certified to handcraft the signature sweet and crunchy glaze, and each Honey Baked Ham must pass a rigorous quality evaluation. Some of our stores hand-glaze up to 300 hams per day during Easter and other holiday seasons!"
