National Tequila Day is here, and I’m thrilled to introduce you to a top-notch silver tequila by one of the top selling brands. Patron, a brand that needs no introduction, is the first that comes to mind when thinking of tequila, and their latest addition, Patron El Cielo, is wonderfully smooth and naturally sweet, making it the perfect addition to any gathering. When the sample arrived at my door, I could tell by looking at the box that this would be something special. The packaging made my mouth drop. Inside, I found a tall, sleek, clear bottle with gold lettering and a sphere-shaped cap. I didn't know a bottle could look sexy until I saw this one.

The Taste Test

After admiring the bottle, it was time for the taste test. Usually, I mix hard liquor into fruity cocktails, but with this one, I decided to take straight shots. Patron El Cielo is distilled four times, and let me tell you, it’s light, refreshing, and went down as smooth as purified water. The taste was strong but not overpowering, and it didn't burn my chest. While it is ultra smooth, don’t get carried away and continue taking shots. The 40% ABV will sneak up on you faster than you think.

Made with the highest quality 100% Weber Blue Agave and only natural ingredients, Patron El Cielo is crafted using the smallest copper pot still at Hacienda Patron. Contrary to common belief that multiple distillations dilute flavors, this unique process enhances the natural sweetness and smoothness of the agave. It's the perfect summer party starter, making every moment shine bright from day to night. Retailing at around $130 Patron El Cielo can be purchased on ReserveBarTotal WineSip TequilaCaskers & more.
